Mobile documentation

A specially tailored mobile interface can be accessed using an iPhone, Google phone or other modern mobile device. Luckily, the agileBase UI concepts lend themselves well to mobile use. Panes 1, 2 and 3 are now separate screens each dedicated to a specific function, simple and quick to access.

The common navigation case is

  1. choose a report from the list - reports are grouped into modules that can be expanded and contracted exactly as in the desktop version
  2. view the report, scrolling through or filtering. Report rows update as you filter, again like the desktop app.
  3. tap a record to view and edit full details. Any phone numbers in the data can be tapped on to call or add to your local contacts list and addresses link through to the Google Maps application.

To get set up, go to http://www.agilebase.co.uk/mobile. On the iPhone, before entering your username and password, you can if you wish add the app to your home screen by clicking the + button at the bottom of the screen.

Here are some screenshots going through a sample lookup:

New: data can now be edited as well as viewed. We'll be listening to feedback as people use it and may introduce more features in future.

Tip: If you use agileBase to store your organisation's full contacts database and the phone to store just those you're in touch with regularly, there's an easy way to transfer a new number or email address to your phone - instead of tapping it, hold your finger down over the it and some options will pop up letting you save to an existing or new contact. This works on both the iPhone and Google phone.
